Mental Health First Aid for the Armed Forces Community training. The MHFA for the Armed Forces course is held over two full days. Participants learn how to:

  • Understand the culture of the armed forces community
  • Recognise the symptoms of mental health problems
  • Provide initial help
  • Guide a person towards appropriate professional help

Mental Health Awareness. This course aims to provide attendees with an awareness of how mental health affects well-being. Course may be tailored according to the needs and requirements of organisations and individuals.

  • Understand how mental health can vary over time
  • Understand the effects of labelling, stigma and discrimination
  • Understand a range of Mental Health diagnoses, treatments and therapies
  • Know what is meant by recovery
  • Be able to find out what support/resources are available in the community

Bespoke health and wellbeing training for groups. Including employment training and education, goal setting, assertiveness skills, ways of thinking, time management, problem solving, relaxation techniques and strategies, healthy living, management of own health and wellbeing.

One to one coaching tailored to individual goals and aspirations. Including employment training and education, goal setting, management of own health and wellbeing.

Launchpad. A project which involves individual coaching for people with an autistic spectrum condition.

Use of therapeutic tools and a holistic approach to support individuals to manage anxiety, phobias and other emotional or physical challenges. Demonstration and information about techniques for people to use independently to maintain their own wellbeing and develop confidence to pursue a lifestyle of their choice.

Presentations and demonstrations to groups regarding techniques to manage stress, anxiety, physical pain, and to develop a healthy and confident lifestyle.
