Picture Tapping Technique (PTT) combines Art Therapy with Energy Psychology Techniques. It is a way of working on your physical or emotional issue without you having to talk about it, or relying on an analysis by the practitioner.
Christine will ask you to put a drawing or just some shapes onto paper, in whatever colours you choose, to illustrate what you are feeling about your issue. You do not have to be skilled at drawing. Often blobs, lines and squiggles appear on the page.
When using metaphors and symbols you are able to work on issues that are difficult to explain in words.
Next, you use the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) tapping points, and tap on what you see on the paper. If you have not used EFT before Christine will guide you through the process.
The process is repeated until you feel that the issue is resolved. Christine will then check with you whether there are remaining issues to work on during the session.
